Delay in delivery

I ordered two dresses on Tuesday, March 15th and paid the extra fee for 3 day shipping because of a tight time schedule. I was told they would be here by March 21st, but then received an email the day after saying they wouldn't even be shipped until April 4th. My event is the 9th of April and I'm not for sure if the dresses will even fit. All together I'm very upset that I paid an extra fee in order for my dresses to get here in plenty of time and was notified they might not even be here in time for the event I ordered them for.

Purchased a dress online material seems to be silk on top and sheer on the bottom. What i received was a sheer see through dress. When i requested exchange i was refused due to there polices. Needless to say if you purchase through them you are at there mercy. I asked for a return address due to dispute with bank. They refused to give there address. Quoting if i sent it back to them i would charged for shipping back to me and or dress will be discarded with no refund or credit . Horrible way to treat a first time customer.

It was listed as "Mesh" in the details and description of the dress so it would not be a silky material. The pictures displayed on our site match the pictures we received of the item delivered.

Poor sizing

I ordered a 1XL dress for my daughter and the dress was waaaay too small. I would venture to guess it is more a size 14 than anything remotely plus sizeD. Disappointed since it is no refundable.

It will contain the measurements for the bust, waist, and hips for that style.

An XLarge for some designers if often equivalent to their size 12 or 14. If you have any questions before ordering, please contact us as we are available by phone, email, or chat for assistance!

As I was swiping through Prom Girl’s app, I saw the exact same dress, but for almost triple the price. After seeing the dupe, I noticed many more replicas of popular brands’ dresses, like Free People.

Crooked seams, poor quality straps, sewing mistakes from where ever it was made. One side of the dress has more material than the other. Longtime family seamstress is taking it completely apart to make it look decent. I would have loved to return it but my daughter loves the style is supposed to be. So, I"m paying to have it fixed. After going round and round with a "supervisor" I was able to get $47 back but it doesn't even put a dent in it and I'm hoping the finished product is going to workout for my daughter. Senior prom and I have to work around this! I DO NOT recommend this company.

We then provided a 25% discount because a replacement with overnight shipping was declined.

I went to prom last year and created an account with this app. I’m now looking for a new prom dress and want to make a new account with my new email. I logged out and tried creating a new account and it told me to verify by checking my email. I didn’t receive an email. So I did this multiple times using multiple emails, none of which worked. I eventually said screw it and tried logging back in with my old email. I said I forgot my password and it told me to check my email. I RECEIVED NO EMAIL. I’d really like to know how to get on to your app, thank you.

this is the biggest *** I ever saw!The website doesn't load (funny for an"American"website),I didn't get any tracking no.because the idiots sent the order no.on my paypal email address instead of the account one,the"customer service"it's a bad joke even to be named"customer service"and on top of that I had to pay 38$the shipping(which is never more than 10$)plus the customs,so basically I payed for that stupid dress(written on it"made in China")3x more than it's real value!!!! Order directly on a Chinese website!is much cheaper and less ridiculous!

If you are thinking of spending money with promgirl.com, I would highly recommend to look elsewhere. Don’t waste your time with their inventory.

Here is our story ... my daughter began looking for dresses for her winter formal and found one she loved on Promgirl.com - so we decided to purchase the dress. It was $149 with free shipping. When the dress arrived we had one day before the event. She tried it on to ensure it fit and took it off to prepare it for the next day. We began to steam out wrinkles and noticed one (1) stain on the bottom of the dress. It was nothing too major (even though I just bought what I thought was a “new” dress) and decided we didn’t have enough time to look for another outfit. The next day she began to wear the dress and within 2 hours of taking photos and showing up to the dance, one of the shoulder straps broke. A friend helped tie the strap together to keep going, but after the event and dinner which was a total of four (4) hours she came home to a dress that was ripped open on the waist of the dress line too. The dress fell apart through no fault of my daughter’s.

Bottom line, within six (6) hours of her wearing the dress - it was completely ruined. Needless to say, I was upset for spending $149 on a dress that won’t even be worn again.

I contacted their customer service and was told the following: “This kind of damage does not regularly happen with the dresses we sell. We do not have a standard time in which a dress would last, as that depends on many factors. However, they are not made for one time wear.” Interestingly enough - they want to say this, but only offer a $30 refund.

I will NEVER buy from them again and told them I would do anything in my power to inform potential buyers of the rip off of this company and product. Do not buy from them.

I took my girlfriend and her friend her so my girlfriends friend can try on dresses. Some of the workes by the dresses were very nice but most of them were very mean and rude. They gave my girlfriend and her friend dirty looks when they when they needed help with putting on a dress and i saw them not help other plus size girls that there was a girl skinny like a pencil having 4 girls helping her and not helping any of the plus size girls this is not right neither fair to those who are plus sizes. Im just shocked in disbelief with this place and there service. I just feel sorry that the nice people who helped us half to work with those who are just rude and i wish i had the employees names who helped us with finding a dress because they did a great job

I felt victimized while shopping due to my weight, while I was there I was not helped in my larger section while all the girls sized 0-4 were being helped who entered the store after me. I felt ignored and disrespected. They also had two workers around one size 0 girl. I was also not the only the plus size girl in the store.

I paid for 2nd day air shipping ($34) for 3 items and my items didn't arrive until 7 days after my purchase. Apparently they were closed for 2 of the business days that week, but that wasn't posted on their website. Additionally, when I called on the day my items should have arrived, my items still hadn't shipped yet but they told me it was too late to cancel my order or refund my rush shipping charge even though my items were going to arrive AFTER my event. Worst customer service on the planet.
