It was listed as "Mesh" in the details and description of the dress so it would not be a silky material. The pictures displayed on our site match the pictures we received of the item delivered.

It will contain the measurements for the bust, waist, and hips for that style.
An XLarge for some designers if often equivalent to their size 12 or 14. If you have any questions before ordering, please contact us as we are available by phone, email, or chat for assistance!

We apologize the designer dress arrived to you with any flaws! After receiving a picture of the seam and strap, we offered a replacement with overnight shipping.
We then provided a 25% discount because a replacement with overnight shipping was declined.
Please keep in mind that a discount was the only option once a return and replacement are rejected. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused!

We are an authorized retailer of designer dresses located in the US and we're sorry to hear you weren't pleased with your experience! When orders are placed using PayPal, all of the order information must be sent to the email address used to login to PayPal for security reasons.
Our international expedited shipping method is $38 but as stated on the Shipping page, all International shipments are subject to duties and taxes. Custom and import charges are not included in our shipping charges. Please keep in mind that designers will manufacture their products in various locations but they are designer originals, and are not replica styles.

Paid way too much for ***
If you are thinking of spending money with promgirl.com, I would highly recommend to look elsewhere. Don’t waste your time with their inventory.
Here is our story ... my daughter began looking for dresses for her winter formal and found one she loved on Promgirl.com - so we decided to purchase the dress. It was $149 with free shipping. When the dress arrived we had one day before the event. She tried it on to ensure it fit and took it off to prepare it for the next day. We began to steam out wrinkles and noticed one (1) stain on the bottom of the dress. It was nothing too major (even though I just bought what I thought was a “new” dress) and decided we didn’t have enough time to look for another outfit. The next day she began to wear the dress and within 2 hours of taking photos and showing up to the dance, one of the shoulder straps broke. A friend helped tie the strap together to keep going, but after the event and dinner which was a total of four (4) hours she came home to a dress that was ripped open on the waist of the dress line too. The dress fell apart through no fault of my daughter’s.
Bottom line, within six (6) hours of her wearing the dress - it was completely ruined. Needless to say, I was upset for spending $149 on a dress that won’t even be worn again.
I contacted their customer service and was told the following: “This kind of damage does not regularly happen with the dresses we sell. We do not have a standard time in which a dress would last, as that depends on many factors. However, they are not made for one time wear.” Interestingly enough - they want to say this, but only offer a $30 refund.
I will NEVER buy from them again and told them I would do anything in my power to inform potential buyers of the rip off of this company and product. Do not buy from them.
